Does This Sound Right To You?

Reading a Blog this week on a subject very close to my heart and one of my chosen business niches'. A young couple had gone ahead and retired early, to travel in their 30's, they have a baby son, and enjoying the time of their lives, living free of what is accepted as the daily work to survive idea. Choosing where they go and what they do. They travel from country to country and write about their experiences, but mostly I wanted to know, how they got to the point of where they are now. Interested in what they have to say I started reading through some of the comments people have made on the young couples blog posts. Some were really great comments, and you could see the writers of the comments obviously get it and know it is doable or taking this as their lead and having a go.

On the other hand, there were quite a few people with scathing comments, about photos and even more with comments like, "You must have had a high paying job to do this, and save as much as you did in the first place", and others saying it has to do with starting from a rich state of doing. The silver spoon idea. But you can tell the Bloggers have really gone out of their way to figure out how to save. With examples like selling the car. The Blogger had bought a bike from ebay for 50 bucks later he sold it for 60 bucks. We all know you would never do that with a car unless it was some vintage style and you did a lot of work to it to create some extra value. Now there is some commitment and also there is a lot of tenacity. If you really figure out how much it costs, the real figures of owning a car are....scarey. How many people are willing to change their lifestyle, with short term pain for the long term gain. Now we could do a whole blog just on the subject of pain and gain, and how we wire our brain...hahaha.. and yes.. There we go that is next week... I am inspired already. Some people are willing and some are not... It does not stop them envying the people who are willing. Ground breakers who will relish the challenge to move forward breaking into financial daylight by digging in, and planning an amazing future for themselves, rather than coating themselves in drudge not moving forward, because they are unable to see past what they may have been previously taught and have resigned themselves to a life they dislike because they believe there is nothing else.

This is similar to another Video Blog I watched recently, in the comments they were saying about how the guy was nuts talking about working at somewhere like a big Supermarket Chain..Yes think of a big one.. for 4 years... while living at home with parents and how easy it was to knuckle down and buy property in that time, positively geared. Readers were commenting about how that was not possible and how ridiculous this was and how in reality you had to have a good education. The Expert and I say "expert" because he is supposed to be training people how to do just this. He was doing the figures and if you wanted to dig in, it is possible. No one ever said it was going to be easy. But how good would it be, to be able to retire, in a good financial place. Does this sound right to you? Do you have what it takes for such a challenge? Although most of you reading this are way past living at home with your parents, however there is another way. Yes you have to be tenacious. It is well worth giving yourself the opportunity to have a go. If you want to ensure your are self reliant in retirement and can weather any financial challenge coming your way. Best start looking now!
